Water Pressure Booster Pumps
Increase Water Pressure
Water Pressure Booster Pumps can increase your
water pressure but not your
water supply.
Pumps are sized by
Pipe capacity & compatibility
because they have to integrate
into your plumbing system

The pipe size of the plumbing in your residence or business will determine the
maximum gallons per minute (GPM) that is available to you. Refer to the chart to
determine your GPM. Booster Pumps do not create water so the pump system has to be
sized to your plumbing and your needs.
Pipe material will also determine
the GPM available to you
 Copper Pipe and PVC are a good
choice as they both do not corrode over time.

 Old galvanized pipe will decrease the
GPM because of build up in the piping.
Storage may be the answer. Storage will
increase the amount of water available
so when demand increases during the day
the water is available to use
 You have to effectively manage your
water supply.

1. Zones with multiple heads will
demand 2 GPM per head x the
amount of zones.
2. Run when household demand is low
so demand does not conflict with
household demand
Irrigation should be sized to
water supply.
